Modules - Virtual systems [vs]

A virtual system is a type of system that is not directly connected for online management. IdM "knows" what accounts and permissions the user should have on the virtual system, but on the real system this is executed by the implementer (administrator). To know the state of each account on the system, CzechIdM uses user tasks and notifications and implementer should resolve the task and thus let CzechIdM know that the change has been made on the system.

The reason for using virtual systems instead of fully connected online one may be the need to manage a large number of systems without the need for demanding integration. Or there is just not enough time to make a full online connection at the time.
