Bulk action for roles

Bulk actions on roles are used for making easy and asynchronous changes on multiple roles.

  • Invoke account management
  • Remove

This operation doesn't have any specific settings.

After choosing this action, you will see the count of identities, who have assigned the selected roles (prevalidate function is called). Only four roles with highest counts are shown.
Only role without any relationships on the identities can be deleted!

Required permission for execute:

  • Role delete

This operation invokes account management for each selected role. It's usually used to propagate changes to the users' accounts after the settings of the role has been changed, e.g. the role assigns a new system or its provisioning mapping has changed. The account management will be invoked for all users with the role. Account management itself and subsequent provisioning are performed asynchronously. You can see progress of these operations in the Events agenda.

This operations only invoke NOTIFY event on identity role relationships.

Required permission for execute:

  • Role update - for successful completion of this action you must have only the permission for update the role.
Permissions for connected identities are not checked here!
